"Vectoroids" is a clone of the classic arcade game "Asteroids" by Atari.
Your objective is to maneuver a space ship within a field of asteroids, and shoot them into smaller and smaller pieces, eventually destroying them completely. Vectoroids is based directly on the code for Agendaroids. It has been ported from X-Window to SDL, so it runs on numerous platforms. Vectoroids includes music, sound effects, and lots of cool color vector graphics!"

Vectoroids DC is a port of Vectoroids to the Sega Dreamcast(tm). The game is basically the same great game but includes:
- Bigger display. The original was 480x480, the DC version is 640x480.
-VMU support. You can save your high score and the score of the last game you played.
-New main menu provided by James Futhey (www.dreamgamer.com)
NOTE: An extra-life is awarded every 10000 points!
NOTE: The original Vectoroids placed 3rd out of about 30 entries, in the "SDL Game Programming Contest" in January 2002.
Updates planned for next version (version name tentative)
-save states to VMU for future play!
-downloadable Asteroids clone for your VMU!
-alternate control via analog stick!
